Hai Fans,
on 5.11.2008 gave
Lez Zeppelin, four girls from New York, a concert in Backstage, Munich. After viewing some video clips from their
homepage,
I hestitated to buy a ticket. But after the concert, I was happy to
spend 25 EUR for it, because even if the four never can reach to the
original, it was a
great thing, to see
songs from Page, Plant & Co. live once again (finally the last time
is over 28 years ago).
It was good, that they did not attempt to imitate (except a little outfit), but they just had fun to perform Zep
songs (like many others try it secretly in the shower). And the audience enjoyed this! I also know now, thanks to Google, Wiki,
etc., that the nearly 26-year-old singer
Sarah McLellan
is a true professional
with appropriate background, and therefore it was easy for her to
thrill me and her colleagues (if absolutely necessary) with her
self-confident and charming appearance.
In short, it was cool
to hear the songs,
to enjoy the girls an be excited hearing "since I've been ...".
And, I must also say again: the 80s
concert from the original
Led
Zeppelin at Munich Olympia hall was really bad ....
Poor sound, tired band ... the "All Girls Band" couldn't be worse!
The following songs were (roughly in that order) played:
Immigrant

You Shook Me
What Is And What Should Never Be
The
Lemon Song
Since
I've Benn Loving You
No Quarter
The
Ocean
Black

Custard Pie
In My
