Aktion im Olympiapark anlässlich des Theater-Festivals „Bilder der Kunst" in München, Deutschland 1985
Ein wegen Baumaßnahmen entwurzelter Olivenbaum wurde von mir aus seiner mediterranen Heimat nach Deutschland gebracht. Er konnte hierzulande aber keine Wurzeln mehr schlagen. Doch der junge Kastanienbaum, den ich im Rahmen dieser Aktion pflanzte, schlug Wurzeln und wuchs seitdem zu einem stattlichen Baum heran. Das Loch, dass ich zum Pflanzen des Kastanienbaums grub, hatte meiner Körperlänge entsprechend einen Durchmesser und eine Tiefe von 163 cm.

An olive tree uprooted due to construction work was moved by myself from its mediterranean homeland to Germany. But it could not strike root round here anymore. However the young chestnut tree, which I planted in line with this action, struck root and grew up to a grand tree since that time. Diameter and depth of the hole that I excavated for planting the chestnut tree corresponded to my body-length of 163 cm.
