Summary Wroclaw

A magic Hoffmann which transfers you into a fantastic world. Together with that of Covent Garden and the Royal Opera Stockholm, the most spectacular stage set I have ever seen, especially in the Giulietta act.

The director led the audience through the opera by means of many fitting and congenial helpful gestures, supported by elaborate body language of the singers, alongside with a logically presented and well understood development of the plot.

There were no incomprehensible or bizarre stunts. A Hoffmann which inspired your imagination and emotions.

The orchestra played perfectly, and the singing was very good to excellent. I hope the Wroclaw audience is aware what an exceptional soprano Evgenia Kusnetsova is.
